Rosemary D'Esposito Mass is Thursday for Caldwell mother and grandmother Rosemary D'Esposito, 86, formerly of Caldwell, N.J., passed away on July 5, 2020. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Aloysius Church, 219 Bloomfield Ave., Caldwell on Thursday, July 16 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J. Arrangements are under the direction of Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Ave., Cedar Grove, N.J., shookscedargrove.com . Born in Jersey City, N.J. to the late Joseph and Mary Varsalona, Rosemary lived in Fairfield, N.J., Scottsdale, Ariz., and Montville, N.J., before living in Caldwell. Prior to retiring, she was an operator in the telecommunications field. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Frank, son, Thomas, and her parents, she is survived by her children, Lisa Bitten (Craig), Frank D'Esposito (Krista) and John D'Esposito (Julie); grandchildren, Craig (Marisa) and Curt, John and Michael, Asher and J.J.; brother, Joseph Varsalona (Kathy); and stepsister, Grace.
