In memory of
Victor DeMarco
Victor DeMarco, 73 September 28, 1946 - April 7, 2020 Victor DeMarco passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at Carmel Richmond Nursing Home at the age of 73. He was a Staten Island native, a loving husband, and the best father a son could ask for. Victor was born in 1946, son of Victor and Louise DeMarco, youngest of four children. He worked for Masters, Mates and Pilots early in his career where he met the love of his life, Catherine Felicetti. They tied the knot in May of 1970 and were married 49 loving years. When the company relocated to Baltimore, he became a laborer for Local 79 in NYC until he retired. Victor was full of life; kind and gentle and always had a smile on his face. He would talk to anyone and everyone, especially if you loved sports - notably his Yankees, Giants and Rangers. Most of all, he loved his family more than anything and always put them first. He is survived by his wife, Catherine; son, Victor and wife, Maria; granddaughter, Hannah; brother, Vincent DeMarco; seven nieces and nephews and many cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Victor and Louise DeMarco and his brother, Jasper DeMarco. His sister, Connie Arnone, recently passed away on June 24, 2020. A Memorial Service will be held in Victor's honor on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020, from 5 to 9 p.m., at Martin Hughes Funeral Home. His son, Victor, will say a few words in his memory at 7 p.m. Martin Hughes Funeral Home "Distinguished Celebrations of Life" 530 Narrows Road South at Britton Avenue Staten Island, N.Y. 10304 (718) 447-0873
