In memory of
RON KORNOKOVICH
Memorial Mass begins in 40 days
In memory of
RON KORNOKOVICH
Ron loved life, and placed his family and friends above everything else. Although he lost his 10 year battle with Alzheimer's on June 28 at age 74, his spirit and legacy will be carried on by all whose lives he touched, especially his wife Judy (Linden), daughter Carrie O'Rourke and her sons Max and Ryan, and son Bryan Kornokovich, his wife Sara, and their son Matthew. He was the best dad a kid could have, never missing a soccer game or baton competition, helping with homework and school projects, riding coasters at Cedar Point, or a trip to the beach in Huron or Fort Myers. Ron had boundless energy. He was always planning the next wonderful adventure or exciting experience for the family. He loved being the life of the party, a fair round of golf, tennis and bowling, driving tiny sports cars, traveling around the world with his beautiful wife, gourmet nights with friends, a good hand of poker, wings at ATC with the guys, telling dad jokes, cooking his famous scrambled eggs and potato pancakes, orange twist ice cream from Pied Piper, greasy spoon restaurants, live theater at Playhouse Square, a day at the movies, long walks through the neighborhood, dancing the night away, Greek and WWII history, anything with cheese, maple cream donuts, Knob Creek, Miller Lite, and most of all…being goofy around his kids, grandkids, nieces, and nephews. Ron was a self-made, celebrated and pioneering businessman in market research for over 45 years as owner of OPINIONation, Consumer Pulse, and Adaptive Technologies Group. He also contributed his expertise on several local and national boards and organizations. Ron had a heart of gold. He will be dearly missed by all who made his journey special. Ron is survived by loving sisters Rita (Robert, decd) Dulskis and Elaine Kornokovich, and sister-in-law Jenny (Ghiath) Daghstani, and brother-in-law Gary Linden. He has joined father Frank, mother Marie, and brothers Kenny (Angie, decd), Larry (Julie) and Butch (Sandy) in Heaven. A special thank you to Arden Courts Westlake and Crossroads Hospice for their loving care and compassion. Services will be private due to COVID-19. A Celebration of Life Mass will be live-streamed on the St. Bernadette Parish (Westlake) website on Sept 19 @ 10am. To share a memory and view a video tribute, please visit mcgorray.com . Donations in Ron's memory may be made to Alzheimer's Foundation of America at alzfdn.org/support-us/donate or Crossroads Hospice Care at crhcf.org/donate or Prayers From Maria at prayersfrommaria.org
