Neil F. Stoebling, 65 Native Staten Islander Neil F. Stoebling, 65, died Friday, June 26, 2020, at his home in San Diego, Calif. Born and raised in West Brighton, Mr. Stoebling relocated to Chicago in the early 1980's and worked for AT&T/Lucent Technologies both in Chicago and in their Hong Kong offices, until his retirement in 2001. Following his retirement, he worked as both a tax preparer and real estate agent in the Illinois area. A graduate of Monsignor Farrell High School in 1973, Mr. Stoebling graduated from Siena College in 1977. He enjoyed traveling, sports, playing golf and attending horse racing. Mr. Stoebling is survived by his wife of 31 years, Rose (nee Luca relli), two sisters, Sheila Cortelyou of Allentown, Pa., and Ellen Stoebling of Henderson, Nev., and two brothers, David of Las Vegas, Nev. and Craig Stoebling of Staten Island and 7 nieces and nephews.
