Mona Faye (Raber) Mallmann Evansville, Ind. - Mona Faye ( Raber) Mallmann, 71, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. Mona was born in Cloverport, Kentucky on August 26, 1948 to the late Levi Raber and Helen (Miller) Lain. She graduated from high school in 1967 and went to Chicago to work for American Airlines as a payroll clerk for 20 years. Mona later moved to Evansville to be closer to her family. She enjoyed word games, playing cards, reading, going for walks and watching the Hallmark Channel. Mona was active in Bible Club and loved being with her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Her giving spirit continues to live on as she was a Gift of Life Organ Donor. Mona is survived by her sisters, Joyce Schaefer (Tom) of Tell City, IN, and Mary Lou Feller (Steve) of Evansville, IN; her former husband, Dan Mallmann; nieces and nephews, Mary Gore, Jeremy Schaefer (Kim), Nicole Wessle, Paige James (Adam); great nieces and great nephews, Riley and Colton Gore, Audry and Brody Schaefer, and Stella, Parker and Everleigh Wessle. Mona was preceded in death by her parents; and her step father, Carl H. Lain. A gathering for family and friends will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Friday, July 10, 2020 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711.
