Robert Joseph Byrne Oct. 10, 1940 - June 24, 2020 OKLAHOMA CITY Bob Byrne will forever be a hero. He retired after 23 years as a pilot in the USAF and began a second career in 1985 with Boeing. A man of integrity, he retired in 2009 as their ethics advisor. His passions included tennis, volunteering, sunset boat rides, music, dancing, and spending time with friends. Bob was born in Derry, NH. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Adrienne Byrne; first wife, Jeanne Chaffee Byrne; and son, Mickey Byrne. He is survived by his wife, Ann Byrne, and her daughter, Amber Yost; sons, Frank Eichman and Bob Byrne Jr.; and eight grandchildren. Services will be held on Friday, July 3, 2020, 10 a.m. at St. Luke's Edmond Campus, 900 N. Sooner Rd., Edmond, OK, and will be livestreamed on the church website.
