Karen Denise Sheets Moser Feb. 22, 1957 - May 2, 2020 Karen Denise Sheets Moser passed away May 2, 2020, from complications starting with gallstones and 53 days in the ICU. She was born Feb. 22, 1957, in Portland, Ore. Her parents were Duane and Carol Sheets. She attended Menlo Park Elementary School and Floyd Light Middle School, graduated from David Douglas High School in 1975, and completed her Associate Degree from Mt. Hood Community College in 1977. In 1982 her father passed away, and she became her mother's best friend and devoted lifelong companion running errands, shopping, and dining together. She married Keith Moser in 1983. They enjoyed shopping for antiques, going on cruises, a trip to Paris, and especially enjoyed their miniature pinscher Ginger and their pet chickens. For several years she enjoyed working as a receptionist and office assistant. Her genuine caring nature for people and the ability to make everyone feel comfortable were an asset in the workplace as well as in her personal life. She was very friendly and loved visiting with neighbors or anyone who stopped by at her many garage sales. She devoted much of her time and energy assisting her mother and husband during their various convalescing. She is survived by her husband; her mother; her brother, Dana Sheets (his wife, Rae Anne); her sister, Lori Brasfield (her husband, David); and her nieces and nephews, Kristin Jondahl (Nick), Brent Sheets (Jenn), Michael Brasfield, and Miranda Brasfield; and seven children of her nieces and nephew.
