Chase, Donald Lee Mr. Donald Lee Chase, age 90 of Grand Rapids, passed away Wednesday June 24, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Jane Czechanski , sister Patricia Van Ringelsteyn and brothers-in-law Gary Terpening and Bob Van Ringelsteyn. Surviving are his loving wife of 66 years Patricia Chase (Bilski); children Amy (Martin) Schuiling, Barb (Tim) Shuck, David (Pam) Chase and Dan (Theresa) Chase; 12 grandchildren; 6 1/2 great grandchildren; brother-in-law Tom (Sharon) Bilski; sister-in-law Dorothy Terpening; many nieces and nephews. Don was a retiree of Steelcase. He loved to travel, visiting all 50 states. Don also enjoyed cooking, golfing and hosting parties. He was an active member of Holy Spirit Church for over 60 years and enjoyed singing in the Adult and Resurrection Choirs. The Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday July 3 at 11:00 AM at Holy Spirit Church. The family will receive visitors at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of West Michigan or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
