In memory of
Linda Molino, 67 Loving mother of three, worked at S.I. Hospital for 30 years Linda Molino, 67, passed away on June 9, 2020, after a courageous four-year battle with lung disease. She was the daughter of the late Theresa and Louis Molino. A lifelong Staten Islander, Linda was born and raised in the Berry Homes in Dongan Hills and graduated from New Dorp High School. Linda worked at Staten Island University Hospital for 30 years before reluctantly retiring in 2016, as a supervisor in the material management department. Her ability to relate to anyone led to countless friendships at the hospital that were wide-ranging, from doctors to nurses to custodians. Linda was a single mother for most of her children's childhoods. To ensure her kids wanted for nothing, she would often work part-time jobs in addition to her full-time job at the hospital. The same strength and perseverance that drove her to successfully provide for her three children also powered her to continuously battle her disease since 2016. She demonstrated an incredible will-to-live over the last four years, which allowed her to enjoy her life and family. Her most joyous moments were at family gatherings when she was able to be with all her children and grandchildren. Linda enjoyed cooking, especially her Sunday sauce. She loved visiting her late aunt, Sharon in Florida and enjoyed trips to St. Martin. She was also an avid reader and her favorite place to eat out was Lee's Tavern. Linda's spirit lives on through her children, Joseph Tuite Jr. (Jessica), Jason Tuite and Kelly Notaro (Dennis); her grandchildren, Stephen, Gabriella, Monique, Matthew, Jessica and Michael; her spouse, Don Lake; her brother, Kevin (Desiree) and her sister, Patricia Guglielmo. She was predeceased by her sister, Valerie. Linda will be remembered in a private family memorial service. Her family will be also be hosting a celebration of life at date to be determined. Contributions can be made in Linda's memory to her favorite charity, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
