On Saturday, May 23, 2020, Richard M. Williams, loving husband, passed away suddenly at the age of 83. Richard was born October 2, 1936 in Ashtabula, Ohio to Maynard & Ella(Mero) Williams. He graduated from Harbor High School class of 1954. On July 1, 1972 he married the love of his life Linda Jane Zack and was married for 48 years. He was a Long Beach resident for many years and a long-suffering Cleveland Browns Fan. Richard worked for the U.S. Post Office for 33 years and was retired for 28 years. He loved live musical theatre and volunteered at Long Beach Civic Light Opera for over 30 years working backstage. Richard and his wife Linda loved traveling which took them all over the world. He was avid photographer and loved taking pictures of Lighthouses from their travels. Richard was preceded in death by his father, mother, and sister. He is survived by his wife Linda, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. A private funeral service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2020, at All Souls Mortuary, 4400 Cherry Ave., Long Beach, CA. 90807.
