John P. Beerly "Unkie" Rochester - John P. Beerly, 84 passed away May 18, 2020. He is predeceased by his wife Jean, and sister Elizabeth Eberwein. Survived by his brother-in-law, Joseph Eberwein (who passed away Sept. 24), Nieces; Nancy (Bryan) Conklin, Suzanne Eberwein, Patty (Tommy) McNamara and Lisa (Steve) Csapo; step children: Connie Polatas, Jed (Diane) Wilkinson, Todd Wilkinson, grandchildren; Katelin, Paige, Brock, Brittany, Robert and Holly. Also survived by several great nieces and nephews. John's family would like to thank the wonderful support and care provided by Lifetime Care and his aid Melissa. Services were held privately for the family at Paul Harris Funeral Home in Irondequoit. Private interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, December 5, 2020 11:00 am at St. Margaret Mary Church (401 Rogers Parkway). Donations in John's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or to St. Kateri Parish 445 Kings Hwy S, Rochester, NY 14617. In keeping with state regulations, masks are required.
