Adele E. Larson Sept. 21, 1923 - May 20, 2020 Adele E. Larson was born in Santa Monica, Calif., Sept. 21, 1923 and passed peacefully May 20, 2020 in Milwaukie, Ore. She was a mother of three, grandmother of six and great-grandmother of four. Adele was the fourth child of Robert and Sadie (Wolfe) Collier. She graduated from Van Nuys High School in 1941 and became the breadwinner for her family after her father passed away the following year. Adele worked in the defense industry during World War II and shortly after the war was introduced to Milo Larson. They married in 1946 and settled in West Covina where they raised a family of three children while operating their dog kennel business. In 1960 they moved the family to Oregon where Adele assisted Milo in growing a successful home and apartment building contracting business. Adele and Milo enjoyed 35 years of retirement together where they spent winters in Maui and traveled extensively to all parts of the world. Milo passed in 2011 and Adele continued to travel with her daughters well into her 90's. Survivors include her children, Barry (Christine) Larson, Gail Jacobs and Debra (Brent) Dennis. Her grandchildren are Lisa Lynne, Steve (Meg) Larson, Bryan (April) Dennis, Megan (Steven) Brock, Justin Jacobs and William Larson. Adele's great-grandchildren (which she called her icing on the cake) are Etta Adele Dennis, Jasper Dennis, Hadley Brock and Liam Larson.
