Henry E. Foyer Henry E. Foyer, age 90, passed away at home from natural causes, on Sunday, May 17, 2020. Henry was born September 12, 1929, in Huntsville, Alabama to Murry and Hortense Foyer. He graduated from West End High School, attended Vanderbilt University and served in the U.S. Navy. After returning to Nashville he worked in retail. Henry was married to Marilyn Gordon and together they bought Bari-Mor Gifts in Hillsboro Village and worked together for 43 1/2 years. He was a Shriner and a Mason. He is survived by his wife of 63 1/2 years, Marilyn Gordon Foyer, his children, Vicki Maran (Scott), and Marlene Yancey (Chet), his grandsons, Cory (Mallory), and Bradley Maran and Gordon Yancey. Private burial services were held on Monday, May 18. The family would like to sincerely thank the wonderful care he received from his loyal caregivers: Rick, LaKesha, Andrew, Hallie, Taylor, Jennifer, Yvonne, Jeff, Jim, Ms. Peggy, and his friend and personal trainer, Steve.
