Constance S. Eros
Constance S. Eros Constance S. Eros, age 87, began her new journey in the early hours of April 11, 2020 in Rancho Mirage. Connie lived for the past 19 years in Palm Desert with her husband and love of her life, Bill. Connie was born at home minutes after her twin Patricia, in Gaspé, Quebec, Canada on January 3, 1933. Connie and Pat celebrated their tenth birthday on the train to Vancouver where the family moved in 1943. Connie met William Eros and the two began their life together on August 4, 1956. They emigrated to the U.S. where they raised four children in the SF Bay Area. Connie was a devoted member of St. Joseph's of Cupertino Catholic Church, volunteering in many church activities as well as a member of the altar committee. Besides housewife, Connie supported and worked alongside Bill, opening their own successful electrical contracting business, Delta Star Electric. This endeavor required long hours, as well as a complete education in office management and computer skills. She did this with a smile on her face and a can-do spirit. Bill and Connie travelled the world and cruising was their favorite. Upon retirement in 2001, they moved to Palm Desert where they hosted family and friends from all over the world. Connie was a vivacious member of the CLOUT Club (classy ladies of undetermined talents) of which she was a friend to all. Connie lost her BFF and twin Pat in 2015 and her life was never the same. She was diagnosed with Alzheimers, but maintained her spunk, spark, and outspoken personality. She was one tough cookie who made you feel welcome, all by a simple "hello love." She was a diehard fan of the Green Bay Packers, loved trips to Tahoe, and enjoyed her Meyers and coke at happy hour. Connie leaves behind her devoted husband of 64 years, Bill; sons Andrew (Laura), Mike (Premila), and daughter Annette (Michael). She was the best granny to Dennis, Samantha, Joshua, Gabrielle, Aaron, Madeleine, and Isaiah. She was predeceased by daughter Rennee and cherished granddaughter Stephanie. Connie was also predeceased by her parents Reginald and Marion LaCouvee, eight brothers and two sisters. She is survived by one brother Bernie of Surrey, B.C., and sister Rosemarie Walker of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. A mass celebrating Connie's life will be held at Sacred Heart Church of Palm Desert. Connie's family will also be hosting a memorial get together in her honor. All dates to be determined.
