In memory of
Jorge Enrique Sierra Marcos
Jorge Enrique Sierra Marcos June 3, 1938 - May 15, 2020 A strong man with a gentle heart. An immigrant from Ecuador, he did not allow the language barrier to keep him from a successful career with Rochester Plating Works, nor from attaining his U.S. Citizenship. Dad always saw the potential in others, and never shied away from encouraging new beginnings, to anyone who would listen. Dad left us on Friday, May 15, 2020, in Kissimmee, FL, to be with his Lord and Savior. He fought numerous health issues related to Parkinson's Disease, over the past 10 years, but it was time to rest. Dad was preceded in death by my step-mom, Adelaida Sierra, and also by his 4-legged, best friend and protector, his golden retriever, Lazaro. He leaves behind his first wife, Malvina Cepeda, their son, Jorge Edgar Sierra (Iris), their daughter, Anissia Sierra, and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be held May 19, 2020, 2:00pm-6:00pm at Porta Coeli Funeraria y Crematorio, in Kissimmee, FL. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Parkinson's Foundation of Greater Rochester NY in his honor.
