Jerry Jerome Fiveash
Jerry J. Fiveash, 75, passed away on May 12, 2020 under the compassionate care of St. Vincent's Hospice in Birmingham, AL. Jerry is survived by his children, Jason Fiveash and Mandy Trolard (Jason), grandchildren, Hayden Fiveash, Jacob Trolard and Lily Trolard, nieces and nephews, David Buehring, Stacy Naglich-Corey, Jodie Buehring and Kristin Buehring-Clark. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry Wilson Fiveash & Mildred Bush, his grandmother, Emma Kent Cobb and his sister, Carolyn Fiveash Buehring. Jerry was born in Dothan, AL, where he attended Dothan High School and was a drummer in his high school marching band. He graduated with the Dothan High School class of 1965. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He graduated from the University of Montevallo in 1977 with a degree in business. Jerry was proud to be the leasing manager at Steel City Oldsmobile in Birmingham for many years and was later employed by Royal Automotive. Jerry enjoyed working in the car business and cherished the friendships he made with his customers and co-workers. He loved fishing, golfing and especially oysters. At this time, the immediate family will gather for a small service, but a military service at The Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL will be planned at a later date for extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jerry's memory to The St. Vincent's Foundation of AL.
