JAN MARIE (BROSZE) REPMAN February 25, 1949 ˜ April 25, 2020 Jan Repman, 71, passed away in Vancouver, WA on April 25, 2020. She was born on Feb. 25, 1949, the second of three daughters, to John Lloyd Brosze and Ruthe Elinor O’Neill in Morton, WA. She was raised in the small logging community of Morton, graduating from Morton High School in 1967. Jan moved to Vancouver, WA to attend Clark College that Fall. That is where she met Greg Repman, her future husband. They were engaged in July of 1968 and married on June 14, 1969 at Sacred Heart Church in Morton. Jan worked as a telephone operator during high school and then as a sales associate at Meier and Frank in Loyd Center and then at JC Penney in downtown Vancouver. She found her true calling as a mother in October of 1979 when she and Greg adopted a three week old baby girl she named Andrea Dawn. Jan loved volunteering at Andrea’s schools in any way she could. As Andrea moved to high school, Jan found a new hobby, searching for, buying, and refinishing antique closets and side boards and tables. Jan continued to volunteer at Our Lady of Lourdes Church where she made many wonderful friends. When Greg retired, she brought him into that group as a new volunteer. The arrival of grandsons, Noah and then Theo, renewed the joy of motherhood for her. She loved being with them and was as proud of them as she was of Andrea. She loved telling everyone about their accomplishments as they grew. Jan is survived by her husband, Greg; daughter, Andrea Hildebrand (Nate); grandsons, Noah and Theo; and her sisters, Meric Brown (Terry) and Rena Richards (Doug). She was preceded in death by her parents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held when we can again gather together to celebrate Jan. Please sign her guest book @ www.columbian.com/obits
