In memory of
Gordon Earl Hall Sr.
Gordon Earl Hall, Sr., 71, of Helena, MS, passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, April 28, 2020. He was born on September 19, 1948, to the late Herbert Earl and Annie Ruth Kirchharr Hall. Gordon retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding as an Outside Machinist Superintendent after 44 years. He enjoyed spending time in his shop tinkering with different projects, where he always had a popsicle waiting for his grandchildren. Though he will be missed, his family finds comfort in knowing that Gordon is reunited with his wife of 40 years, Dawn Lee Hall, after 19 months apart. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Gordon (Amy) Hall, Jr., Robbie (Sherry) Hall, Jessica (Richard) Murray, and Jacob (Rendy) Hall; grandchildren, Kori (Jeremy) Latham, John Robert "J.R." (Swade) Hall, Kaitlyn Wilson, Ashleigh Hall, Joshua Hall, Jolee Brewer, Jace Brewer, Jarin Cooksey, Hayden Cooksey, and Shelby Murray; great-grandchildren, Rylee Boleware, Jace Latham, Mason Latham, and Gauge Wilson; and siblings, Becky (Larry) Gunter and Glenn (Paula) Hall; along with numerous other relatives and friends. Due to the concerns surrounding COVID-19, the immediate family will have a private service on Saturday, May 2, 2020. A celebration of life will be held in Mr. Gordon's memory at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home, locally owned and operated in Moss Point/Escatawpa, MS, is honored to serve the family of Mr. Gordon Earl Hall, Sr. We encourage you to leave your heartfelt condolences for the family on his online memorial book at www.heritagefuneralhome.us
