Shirley Kendrick Tillman, 72, of Moss Point, MS, passed away Friday, April 17, 2020. She was a loving Wife, wonderful Mother, doting Grandma, and adoring Great-Grandma. She was a lifelong resident of Moss Point, Mississippi where she graduated high school in 1966. She spent her early years as a hairstylist and later as a homemaker. Shirley spent her retirement years having daily lunch dates with her husband, going on cruises with her husband and family, and enjoying the peace of nature on her deck. She is preceded in death by her father, Elton Norman Kendrick and her mother, Etta V. Kendrick. She is survived by her husband, John Timm of Moss Point, MS, her daughters Buffie (Jason) Holden of Ocean Springs, MS, Shelley (Rodger) Farabee of Ocean Springs, MS, and Tracy Tillman of Moss Point, MS, her grandchildren Timothy (Becca) Holden, Claire (Casey) Croy, Blake Farabee, and Brooke Farabee, and her great- grandchildren T.J. Holden, Truette Holden, MaryBeth Holden, and Hannah-Kay Holden, as well as her furry companions Gracie and Rebel. Her loss will be felt by those who loved her most. For those wishing to express their sympathy, please make a donation to the Jackson County Animal Shelter in her honor. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, all services at this time will be private.
