Marine Veteran Elwood (Woody) S. Finsterbush, 72, born 3/11/48, passed away suddenly at the Hershey Medical Center on 3/26/2020. He was 1 of 13 children to the late Charles and Alma (Heinzelman) Finsterbush. Woody had a love for showing his antique car and the Steelers. He was an active member of the VFW and Legion – many knew him as Santa. In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by his brothers Jimmy Finsterbush, Edward Finsterbush and sister Linda Finsterbush. Woody is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Alma (Smith) Finsterbush; brothers Gary Finsterbush - Germany, Richard Finsterbush – Florida, Glen Finsterbush (Juanita) – Hummelstown; sisters Patricia Schrieber – Hummelstown, Gloria Adams – Hummelstown, Wanda Harmon (Bryce) – Lykens, Sandy Fite – Carlisle, Betty Crabb – York, Marie Wolfe (Kenny) – Elizabethtown; son Elwood Finsterbush Jr. (Sue) – Newport; fur-baby Molly Finsterbush; stepdaughters Bobbie Gustin (Greg), Barbra Black, Jody Noss (David), Tina Tennant and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous loving devoted friends. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Woody's name to the Lebanon VA Medical Center.
