In memory of
Leland Eli Walley died this past Friday morning at his home in Alabaster, Alabama. A 13 year resident of Alabaster and formerly of Sand Hill, Mississippi, Leland made his professional career in Paramedic Medicine with AMR and later in Network Engineering as a Sr. LAN Administrator in connection with Motion Industries. He was a 1983 graduate of Sand Hill High School, a 1986 graduate of Jones County Jr College, a 1998 graduate of UAB Paramedic Sciences, and a 2001 graduate of Virginia College in Information Technology. In June 2014, Leland was baptized as a Christian minister of Jehovah's Witnesses. Leland Walley is survived by his wife of 26 years, Liz (Cedotal) Walley, his daughter Sara "Sweet Pea" Morgan Walley of Montevallo, Alabama, his sisters and brother, Sharron Kaye (Gerald) Powe, Jenny "Baby" (Joe) Watson, Vernon "Bo" Darrell Walley all of Sand Hill, Mississippi and Lisa Hanley of Richton, Mississippi. Leland was much loved by family, in laws, coworkers, and fellow Jehovah's Witnesses. He will be especially missed by his brother-in-law, Joe Watson. He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Houston Walley and his mother, Carol Maurice Walley. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 4 at 2pm.
