Danny Ray Buck, Jr. Oct. 16, 1966 - Mar. 21, 2020 CHOCTAW Danny Ray Buck Jr., age 53, went peacefully to be with his son Hunter in the fields of heaven on March 21st, 2020. He was born to Danny Buck Sr. and Garnetta (Roberts) Smith on October 16, 1966 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As a child growing up, Danny exceled at wrestling, bullriding, and showing cattle in FFA. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved hunting, fishing, shooting, skiing, boxing, and teaching his boys the ethical and spiritual approaches to wildlife and nature. He had exceptional skills in training dogs, duck calling, fighting, grilling, and many more. Lil Danny was famous for his annual crawfish boils that became a summer special for many years. In his professional career, Danny was a boxing manager, trainer, and promoter before becoming a valve technician in the oil and gas industry. He loved raising cane but was a loyal friend that was always the first to be called, the best to have in your corner, and the last to turn his back. He was an amazing father, caring husband, awe- some brother, and loving son. Danny is preceded in death by his son Hunter; step-father Darrel Smith; step-brother John Kelley; nephews Jett Stark and USMC PFC Brian Smith; grandparents Ray and Betty Buck, Bob and Laura Roberts; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is survived by his parents Danny Sr. and Garnetta; wife Debbie; sons Zac and Denver; brother Tony; and nephew Tyler.
