Robert Dennis "Bob" Flagel
Robert Dennis 'Bob' Flagel June 15, 1936 - March 9, 2020 Robert "Bob" Flagel, 83, died at the home of his former wife, Susan. Bob Flagel was born in Portland, Ore. to his parents, Esther and Mike. Bob graduated from Parkrose H.S. in 1954 and from Lewis & Clark College in 1959. He married Susan Killoran in 1960. Bob worked in sales and advertising for a decade before starting his 20-year career as an Allstate Insurance Agent. After retirement, Bob continued working by choice until he passed. His most recent job was working for Visiting Angels as a caretaker. Bob was also one of the founding members of a small men's group that began in the 1970's and lasted for 30+years. The group supported men navigating the changing societal norms surrounding relationships between men and women in the workplace and in personal relationships.
