Margie Ann Freeman, 84, of Panama City, FL, passed away March 23, 2020, in Pensacola. Margie was born in Crisp, GA, and lived most of her life in Bay County. She worked as a Medical Secretary at Bay Medical Center and was a charter member of Eastside Baptist Church. Margie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and 5 brothers and sisters. Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Joe Freeman of Panama City; her children, Daniel DeMarcus of Biloxi, Debra DeMarcus of Panama City, Linda George of Panama City, Thomas DeMarcus of Wake Forest, NC and Steven DeMarcus of Lynn Haven; her sisters, Frances Nelson of the Sand Hills and Sue Sommer of Biloxi; 2 brothers, Michael Banks of Panama City Beach and Morris Banks of Miami; her step-children, Don Freeman of Gulfport, Peggy Downard of Panama City and Richard Freeman of Amber, OK; and numerous grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Grave side funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2020, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
