Juanita Cordelia Foresee Oct. 25, 1924 - Mar. 22, 2020 MIDWEST CITY Juanita Cordelia McCoy (Moore; Gibson) Foresee was born to Charles Willard and Geddie Elizabeth (Dorsey) McCoy on October 25, 1924 in Oklahoma City. She was pre-ceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Wilford Foresee; mother; father; and step-mother, Rowena of Arizona; daughter, Charlotte Worsham of Edmond; and son, John C. Gibson Jr. of Moore; sisters: Joy McCoy and Celesta Harmon of Arizona; grand-son, Danny Worsham; grand-daughter, Shannon Ray Gibson; and great grandson, Liam Gibson. She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Meador (James) of Newcastle; son, Jimmy Gibson (Cathy) of Newalla; daughter-in-law, Wanda Gibson of Moore; and three step-daughters: Betty Chatham (Bob) of Oklahoma City, Diane Dukes (Brent) of N. Richland Hills, TX and Wilma Foresee of Florida; one sister, Vanny McCoy of Mesa, AZ, fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, many friends and loved ones. Juanita grew up in downtown Oklahoma City attending Washington and Heronville Grade School, Jackson Junior High and she graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1942. She retired from Tinker Field after 34 years of government service in 1983. She accepted Jesus as her Savior at an early age and renewed her commitment at Exchange Baptist Church. She was a Bible teacher and helper in God's work. She was a member of Crest Baptist Church in Midwest City for many years. Juanita wishes to thank all of you for being her friend. Her specialty was sending cards, praying they would help someone. "My main prayer and desire is that my children, grandchildren and greats will put God first in their lives and serve Him, than I would not have lived in vain. My prayer is that I helped someone along the way." Due to the current circumstances, the family will be having a Private Service at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
