Lisa Carole East Gaddis
Lisa Carole East Gaddis of State Line, MS (Formerly Pascagoula, MS), passed away on March 20, 2020 after a long illness. Lisa was born in Meridian, MS on August 6, 1954. She retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding several years ago and kept many friends who were co-workers. She leaves behind her husband of 45 years, Mike Gaddis; her children, Billy (Felicia), Jeffrey (Regina), and John (Leah) ; sister, Beth East Prokop (Jules); and 9 grandchildren, Tristan, Karaline, Ashtin, Kayleigh, Grace, Makayla, Savannah, Ainsleigh, and Madelyn; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kara, her parents, John and Kathy East, and brothers, John (Pat), Bill, Steve (Penny), and Chris East. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and Nana, and was never happier than when her grandchildren were around. Lisa loved animals, and when she was young, she would bring home any stray kitten, puppy, guinea pig, or just about anything that needed her attention. She loved riding on the back of Mike's motorcycle, even after having a face-to-gravel incident once. And, she loved their 'life on the farm'. She will be missed by many friends and family. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home, locally owned and operated in Moss Point/Escatawpa, MS, is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Lisa Carole East Gaddis.
