CAROLE "CARRIE" ALINN
age 74, passed away on March 21, 2020. Beloved spouse of Lynne Utrata. Daughter of the late Billie (Ziemba) and Al Alinn. Loving sister of Richard Alinn. Dear sister-in-law, aunt and great aunt to many. Carrie was a loyal, terrific sister and a joyful, loving companion of 33 years. She was an accomplished woman who was passionate about her career in social work. Carrie supervised scores of social workers and students during her twenty-five years at Cuyahoga County Department of Children and Family Services. She held a Masters in Social Work as well as a Masters in Literature. Never boring, Carrie had far-flung interests. These included astrology, bowling, bridge, classical music, the Cleveland Indians, Cavaliers and Browns, swimming and Sci-Fi. She loved sharing these interests with others and she participated in a number of leagues. Carrie loved life and the people around her. She was loved in return and will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be scheduled at a future date.
