Rainelle Elizabeth "Lizz" Bauer-Hoover, 59, of Shermans Dale, PA, passed away Monday, February 10, 2020 in Holy Spirit Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Rainelle was born in Marysville, PA on April 26, 1960, a daughter of the late Lorraine C. (Seiger) Bauer and Howard W. Bauer, Sr. She worked as a credit coordinator at Sysco of Central PA, Harrisburg. Lizz was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Marysville, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 882, Marysville and the American Legion Post 340 Duncannon. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, scrap booking and doing arts and crafts. Lizz loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter and her cats. Surviving are, two sons, Joshua H. W. Hoover, his wife, Shellee, of Harrisburg, Nolan J. T. Hoover, of Millersburg, a granddaughter, Annabelle E. Hoover, three sisters, Tawna L. Bauer, of Camp Hill, Debra K. Bauer, of Marysville, Lorrie B., wife of John Dress, of Shermans Dale, four brothers, M. Joseph Bauer, of San Diego, CA, Zachary T. Bauer, his wife, Rhonda, of Hummelstown, Jeffery J. Bauer, of Alexandria, VA, Derek D. Bauer, his wife, Kathy, of Duncannon. Also three nieces, Terah, her husband, Ethan, their children, Corbin and Colin, Torrie, Tayah, nine nephews, Matt, Lenny, Joseph, Daniel, Garrett, David, Byron, Caidan and Christopher. She was preceded in death by a brother, Howard W. "Clem" Bauer, Jr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1:00 P.M. on Monday, February 24, 2020 in Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Marysville, with Rev. Dijo Thomas as Celebrant. A viewing will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 12:45 P.M. on Monday the 24th in the Michael J. Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville. Burial will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Marysville.
