In memory of
Les Furnanz
Les Furnanz April 3, 1946 - Jan. 28, 2020 On January 28th, we lost an amazing husband, father and grandfather. He gifted our family with a love for the outdoors, music and traveling. His passion for travel led him to six continents. French became his second language. Always the sweet tooth, he appreciated freshly baked cookies and desserts. Les earned a BS from the University of San Francisco, an MSEE from UC Davis and an MBA from the University of Santa Clara. He worked at Intel for 22 years before retiring at the age of 50 to pursue his passions. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Marie. Les is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rita; his two sons, Paul (Kari) and Ken (Celine); and three granddaughters, Mia, Noelle and Milli. Les has four surviving siblings, Carol, Mike, Lynn and Laura; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service was previously held. Memorial contributions in his honor may be made to the American Cancer Society. Please sign the online guest book at www.oregonlive.com/obits
