Diane Louise Delany
Diane Louise Delany HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, NJ Diane Louise Delany died peacefully in her home on Feb. 7, 2020. Born in Newark, NJ, on Feb. 17, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Cyril and Barbara Bittle Marhevska and had lived in Hillside and Warren, NJ, before settling in Holland Township. Diane worked as an LPN at the Hunterdon Developmental Center, received her RN degree from Raritan Valley Community College in 1990, and later became a visiting nurse with the Warren County Public Health Dept. She served her clients with compassionate concern, and her wisdom, dedication, and sense of humor enriched the many lives she touched as a nurse. Diane was a friend of Bill W. for nearly 35 years and her caring and guidance helped many people throughout the years. Diane was a long time member of St Thomas Episcopal Church in Alexandria Township, NJ. Diane is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, James Delany; her son, Steven Weber: and sister Donna Marie Marhevska of Florida. She was predeceased by her son, John McCartney. A service of celebration of the life of Diane Delany will be held at the Frenchtown Presbyterian Church, 20 4th St., Frenchtown, NJ 08825 on Saturday, Feb. 29, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 98 Sky Manor Rd, Pittstown NJ 08867.
