In memory of
Susanne Yates
Yates, Susanne On Tuesday February 4th 2020, our beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, and aunt, Susanne Jane Yates passed away surrounded by her loving family. Sue was born in Emmett County Michigan on November 17th 1948. She married her love Roger Yates in June of 1969. Roger and Sue made their home in Grand Rapids, MI. and then retired to their home in Brutus, MI. Susanne is survived by her devoted husband Roger Yates, Loving children Kimberly Yates, Jennifer Tu Yates (Phuc Tu), Rowdy Yates (Melissa Yates), her beloved grandchildren Carol Marble, Keith Yates, Julia Yates, Paul Tu, Shawn Yates and Great Grandchildren Aleyna & Rogelio. She is also survived by her cherished siblings Don (Dorothy) Boda, Francis Boda, Carol Crampton (Boda), Sherry Boda, and several nieces, nephews & cousins she dearly loved. She loved God and family more than anything in the world. There was a unique beauty about her and when she opened her heart and home up to you, you were a part of her forevermore. Our Sweet Sue sparkled and shined above most. Her soft spoken voice, precious little laugh and her loving smile were angelic and will be forever missed by all that were blessed to be in her life. As Sue always said, she was an "instrument of God". If you would like to honor her memory, help when you can, be kind and thoughtful to others, and always tell those close to your heart how much you love them.
