Anthony Paul Hogue "Tony" 51 passed away quietly in his sleep on February 3, 2020. He was born October 11, 1968 and had been a lifelong resident of Pascagoula, MS until recent years when he relocated to Hattiesburg. He attended Pascagoula High School and still had many friends in Pascagoula. He worked in construction as a painter. Tony was a devout Christian who loved the Lord and was the most non-judgmental person you could ever meet. He was always ready to lend a helping hand where needed. He is survived by his mother, Mary R. Lancaster (Glenn), two sisters, Wendy Hogue Gavras, and Ginger Hogue Armistead (Rhett), one nephew Grayson Gavras, and two nieces Mia Gavras and Emily Armistead, plus uncles, aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father John Rankin and his adoptive father Ronnie Hogue and grandparents. A memorial service will be held at Victory Baptist Church, 144 Weldy Rd., Hattiesburg, MS February 15, 2020 at 2 p.m. with visitation in the Fellowship Hall preceding the service at 1 p.m. Those wishing to make memorial donations in his name may send them to City of Refuge, 272 Weeks Rd., Lucedale, MS.
