Adrianne T. Piliouras
Piliouras, Adrianne T. ("Nina") passed away quietly on January 17, 2020. She was 91 years old. Affectionately known as "Nina," she was born on March 11, 1928, in Birmingham, Alabama, to Phillip and Maria Triantos. She lived in Birmingham her entire life where she graduated from Ramsay High School. Nina will be remembered for her great faith, strength and wonderful sense of humor. She was a life-long member of Holy Trinity-Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Cathedral. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Piliouras; her son Pete Piliouras; her parents, Phillip and Maria Triantos; her sister Tula Grammas; and her brother Arthur ("Nisi") Triantos. She is survived by her son, Philip Piliouras, and her many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 10:00 AM, Monday, January 20, 2020 at Holy Trinity-Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Cathedral followed by Funeral Services at 11:00 AM at the Cathedral, Father Gregory Edwards celebrant. A meal is offered by the family in the Fr. Emanuel Vasilakis Banquet Hall following the internment. In lieu of flowers, make memorial donations to the Holy Trinity-Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Cathedral at 307 19th Street South, Birmingham, Alabama 35233.
