On January 15, 2020 Barbara Ann Whitfield Spradlin passed away at age 69. Barbara was born in Decatur, AL on August 27, 1950. She graduated from Ramsay High School in 1969, attended Jeff St. College, and retired from the American Postal Workers Union. Barbara is survived by her husband, Alan Spradlin, Brother, Bill Whitfield (Jane), Daughters, Jennifer Lewis Burks (Craig), Emily Lewis McDaniel (Rob), Grand-daughters, Ada Grace Burks (9), Amelia Grace McDaniel (2) and Rosemary Ann McDaniel (2), several sweet Nieces and Great Nieces. Asbury United Methodist located at 6690 Cahaba Valley Road, B'ham AL 35242 will host visitation on January 20th from 10:00am -12:00pm with funeral services directly following, and graveside service will be held at Jefferson Memorial, Trussville, AL. The family is thankful for the countless prayers, love, and support throughout her battle with cancer.
