Quinton Aldridge Chandler, IN - Quinton Dwight Aldridge, 92, of Chandler, Indiana passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Woodmont Health Campus in Boonville, Indiana. Quinton was born in Midway, Indiana on April 11, 1927 to the late William Harry and Beulah Beatrice (Walker) Aldridge. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1946 - 1948 assigned to the USS Midway in the Mediterranean and served as entertainment playing in a bluegrass band. Quinton was a member of the VFW Post #1114. He worked for over 50 years before retiring as a Journeyman Carpenter and Millwright. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Dorothy Elaine Aldridge; step-daughter, Sharon Hooper; brother, Alwin Aldridge. Quinton is survived by his son, Brian Keith Aldridge Sr. (Vicky); son-in-law, Robert Hooper; grandchildren, Hannah, Brian Keith Jr; Darren, Blake, Robyn, Stacey, Mark, Amy; great-grandchildren, Waylon, Jordan, Bailey, Adrian, Kaleigh; cousin, Thelma Hawkins; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be 11 A.M. on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Koehler Funeral Home, Perigo Chapel in Chandler, Indiana with Pastor Joseph Stephenson officiating. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville, Indiana with the Retired Veterans Memorial Club to conduct military honors. Visitation will be from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. on Thursday, January 16, 2020 and again from 10 A.M. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Chandler Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Chandler, Indiana.
