G. Ronald Winger
G. Ronald Winger, 80, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020 in the Masonic Village at Elizabethtown. He was born on March 12, 1939 in Harrisburg, to the late Anthony and Margaret (Kerlin) Winger. Ron was a graduate of Central Dauphin High School Class of 1958. His working life was very diverse; he was a salesman, the owner of the former Lemoyne Cold Storage and later in life a security guard. He was a member of Perseverance Lodge #21, F&AM, Harrisburg Consistory, and the Tall Cedars of Lebanon Harrisburg Forest #43. He enjoyed woodworking, furniture refinishing and was a sports car enthusiast. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Lynn C. Winger, 2 daughters Jill K. Jacobs and her husband James of Harrisburg, Erin N. Norris of Harrisburg, a sister Tracey Stanovich and her husband Michael of Steelton, and 2 grandchildren Emma Jacobs and Benjamin Jacobs. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 16, 2020 in the Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home, 2100 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Thursday in the funeral home with a Masonic service beginning at 11:00 A.M. conducted by Perseverance Lodge #21 F&AM.
