Joanne Diglio Mass is on Wednesday for advertising industry professional Joanne Diglio (nee Bongiovanni) passed away at home Jan. 11, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was 71. Visiting will be on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2020 from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, N.J. Mass is on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Stephen's Church and burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Joanne was an executive content producer, last working for DDB in NYC. She was a highly awarded producer in advertising. After tragically losing her beloved son, Michael, she became extremely active with The Morris County Opioid Task Force and The Essex Health and Wellness Recovery Center at St. Michael's Medical Center in Newark, N.J. She was a dedicated member of The Ammon Foundation and was "Volunteer of the Year" for helping people recover from addiction. Wife of Peter Diglio, she was also the mother of Amanda Goodwin (James), Melissa Diglio Healy (Dennis) and the late Michael Diglio; sister of the late Nicholas Bongiovanni and the late Frances Travisano. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Keiller, Maggie, Erin, Lillia and Cora, along with many loving nieces and nephews and their families.
