Raymond "Ray" L. Postle Dec. 12, 1961 - Jan. 5, 2020 PURCELL There will be a celebration of his life at his home, from 1:00-6:00 pm., March 14, 2020. Ray passed away peacefully with his family by his side on January 5, 2020. Ray was born in Lancaster, Los Angles County, CA., the second son of Beverlee A. Metcalf Postle and Charles E. Postle. In February 1984, Ray met the love of his life, Janice Davenport Linzey, in Nashville, TN, where they both were employed in the food service industry. In June 1984, Ray enlisted in the US Army and served honorably as a Food Service Specialist until July 1988. Ray has had a love for the food service Industry all his life which was evidenced by employment with the Souper Salad Restaurants for 18 years as a Building Superin-tendent. That experience secured him a very good position with the Whataburger Restaurants, LLC in 2004. When Ray passed, he was still employed for Whataburger as a Regional Facilities Manager. Ray had 10 grandchildren: McKenzie Gorham, Alex Ritchie, Madison Linzey, Lucy Ritchie, Emily Ritchie, Britten Whitsitt, Jett Whitsitt, Myles Gorham, Sadie Satzman and Jacob Satzman. Ray's legacy is his compassion, work ethic, and his devotion to his wonderfully diverse family. No one will ever forget his dry wit and his lovingly sarcastic nature. He is preceded in death by his parents, Beverlee A. Metcalf Postle and Charles E. Postle, and brother, Kenneth E. Postle. Ray is survived by his wife, Janice Davenport Postle, Purcell, OK, daughter, Tasha Lindsey-Gorham (Bernard), Richardson, TX; Jodi Linzey Whitsitt (Justin), Richardson, TX; Adam Satzman (Marissa) Trenton, N.J. and Bryce Postle (Sharee) Oklahoma City, OK. In lieu of flowers and memorials, the family requests donations to be made to the American Heart Association.
