Vincent L. "Sarge' House II, 77, of N. 5th St., Harrisburg, transitioned into eternal life on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at UPMC Harrisburg Pinnacle Hospital. He was born in Steelton, son of the late Vincent L., Sr. and Nestine C. (Phoenix) House, a 1960 graduate of Steelton-Highspire High School, a U.S. Air Force Veteran, retired from the U.S. Postal Service, a member of Monumental A.M.E. Church and his leisure, enjoyed jazz, traveling and cruising. In addition to his parents, "Sarge" was preceded in transitioning by his sister, Brenda Barrett and leaves to celebrate his life, his wife, Charlene R. House; his sons, Vincent III and Marc A.; his brothers, Leonard and Albert, Sr. (Dr. Joan); his sisters, Ina and Janice; his five grandchildren, Kamar, Lalah, Marquis, Xyeon and Maximus; his godson, Albert John and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. His life will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 15 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Major H.
