Herbert Edwards Evansville - Evansville - Herbert A. (Herb) Edwards, 89, of Evansville, went to be with the Lord on, Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born on March 11, 1930 in Evansville, IN to the late Charles A. and Beulah O. (Graham) Edwards. Herbert was employed as a professional wholesale florist with Ziedler Florist and Bohnsack Florist until retiring in 1995. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Rhoda B. (Bert) Edwards, daughter Christine Edwards Murray (James) and sons Michael H. C. Edwards (Barbara), William L. Edwards (Gwyn), Christopher S. Edwards (Pamela), Thomas P. Edwards (Miriam) and Lawrence D. Edwards (Rhonda), sister Vera H. Gilbert In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Martin D. Edwards and 18 of his brothers and sisters. He was an active member of Sts. Mary & John Parish, 613 Cherry Street, Evansville. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Sts. Mary & John Parish.
