Lisa Walker
Walker, Lisa 9/19/1958 - 1/3/2020 Ann Arbor Lisa Katherine Walker (Smith) passed away in the early morning hours of January 3rd, 2020 surrounded by her daughters after being diagnosed only weeks prior with a very rare aggressive form of cancer. Lisa was born in Ann Arbor and graduated from Pioneer High School in 1976. After graduation she attended what is now Northwood University completing her degree in hotel and restaurant management. Upon returning to Ann Arbor she met and fell in love with Robert (Bob) Walker and they were married in August of 1985. In 1990 she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and battled the disease and the symptoms for years. She will remembered for her love of Michigan Football and tailgating at the Snyder house. Her infectious laugh and sometimes inappropriate humor would lighten even the heaviest of moments. She is preceded in death by both of her parents Charles F. and Lieselotte Smith. She is survived by her loving daughters; Katie (Jesse) Fautsch, Sarah (Michael) Walker and Erin (Evan) Swedish and four grandsons; Tyler, Eric and Adam Fautsch and Aiden McEachern. A celebration of life will take place on Sunday January 12th for family members and close friends. In Lieu of flowers please consider donating to the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society.
