Ann L. Bennett
Ann L. Bennett Jan. 2, 1933 - Dec. 18, 2019 Ann L. Bennett was born in Portland to Florence M. Elliott and Roy R. Elliott Sr. After attending Franklin High School, Ann's adventurous spirit took her to the Midwest and California. She returned to Portland where she worked for College Crest Tax/Columbia Turrell. Ann was a pioneer for her time, buying and restoring properties, doing much of the work herself. Ann always lived life to the fullest and with flare. She had many dear friends and loved to entertain. She was a gourmet cook and was quick to share tips and recipes. Other interests included gardening and her beloved kitties. She spent much of her retirement loving Maui life and her late husband Ray Bennett, but lived in Portland for the last 10 years. Ann is survived by her brother, Roy R. Elliott and wife, Claudia; and many nieces; nephews; stepchildren; and grandchildren. Her immediate family is holding a private ceremony.
