Antoinette Blair Newburgh, In - Antoinette (Ann/Annie) Blair born on February 11, 1953 in Evansville, Indiana, peacefully passed on January 04, 2020. Her family was by her side at the Signature Healthcare Nursing Home. Ann was a graduate of Bosse High School Class of 1972. In her younger years she worked at Evan's Cafe where she made loyal, life-long friends eventually becoming caretaker for cafe owner, Harold Evans. Ann loved God, her Catholic faith, and her family. She demonstrated resilience and grace in the face of her life-long challenges. She is survived by brothers Kenneth (Vicki) Keith (Barbara) , Randy (Susan) William (Kim) Darryl (Becky) Blair and sisters Brenda (Jackie) Hinton, Diana (Greg) Tornatore, Mary Harpenau, Jennifer (Stephen) Pitkin, and Kristie (Samuel) Moorman, brother-in-law Melvin Stover along with numerous wonderful Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. Ann was preceded in death by her sister, Karen Stover and brother Brent Blair. She loved the Sunday family visitations and Communion administered by the Eucharistic Ministers from St. John the Baptist Newburgh and the special days Simon the poodle visited the facility. Thanks to all the staff at Signature Healthcare for their years of support. She will be laid to rest at St. Joseph's Cemetery next to her deceased parents, William Edward and Doris Lucille (Kuester) Blair. Father Ted Templel will officiate. The family will hold a celebration of her life after private burial service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Catholic Charities or to the Humane Society.
