Joe D. Muzio, 25 Passionate and talented musician with a huge zest for life Joe D. Muzio, 25, of Aberdeen, formerly of Midland Beach (Staten Island), N.Y., passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Joe was a 2012 graduate of New Dorp High School in Staten Island, N.Y. A passionate and talented musician, Joe played the drums and the guitar. He played in many bands, performed in many venues and his talent took him to Alaska and California. Joe was in the process of recording his first official album and even has a song recorded and playing on the radio in Europe. He had a huge heart and was full of love for his family, friends and pets. He had a huge zest for life and would do anything for anyone. Joe was the beloved son of Anthony and Jody (nee: Salerno) Muzio; loving brother of Melissa Muzio, Anthony Muzio and Jayme Colgan and husband, Cris; devoted uncle of Eric, Isabella, Ava, Orion, Dean, Belle and Tyler; cherished grandson of Marie Salerno. Joe was predeceased by his grandparents, Frank Muzio, Elaine and Adrian Fanning and Louis Salerno. Joe also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, as well as his two dogs, Luna and Noodle. Family and friends may visit Saturday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Bedle Funeral Home, 212 Main Street, Matawan, N.J.
