Ann Sorrell
Sorrell, Ann 9/2/1936 - 12/26/2019 Ann Arbor Ann Sorrell passed away on December 26, 2019 in the loving care of Arbor Hospice in Saline. She was born in 1936 in KY and moved to Detroit at age 7, and lived in Ann Arbor most of her adult life. Early in her life, she proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. She dedicated her professional life to teaching the hearing impaired in the Ann Arbor Public Schools, mainly at Huron High School. She is survived by her life-partner of 47 years, Marge Eide, her sister Helen Drawe, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Angie and Clay, and her brother Bill Sorrell. Ann was proud to be a supporter of the Jim Toy Community Center.
