Dennis J. Pencak
Dennis J. Pencak Dennis J. Pencak of Cicero, age 76, passed away on December 18, 2019. A longtime employee at Continental Can Co./White Cap Division, a self-employed roofer, U.S. Army veteran, a brilliant handyman, a superb home cook, and a star athlete at Morton East High School, Dennis enjoyed fishing, working on cars, watching old western movies and football, caring for his fish tank, growing his garden, maintaining his home and most of all, watching his grandchildren grow up. Dennis was the beloved husband of Kathleen, nee Stelmaszek; loving father of Brian (Vicki) Pencak, and Karen (Norman) Vail; proud grandfather of Alyssa, Ella, Lily, and Ian; dear brother of Rita (late Ken) Lox, Kenneth (Rose) Pencak and Marilyn (Ray) Kabat; dear uncle to many nieces and nephews, and cherished friend to many. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 9am to noon at Sourek Funeral Home, 5645 W. 35th Street in Cicero. A memorial mass will be held at 12:30pm at St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, 3010 S. 48th Court in Cicero with private interment in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to; Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital. www.hines.va.gov/giving
