John M. "Jack" Parvis
John (Jack) M. Parvis, 82, of Middle Village, Queens, suddenly and peacefully passed away in his sleep on Sunday, December 29, 2019 Jack was the beloved father of John Parvis and wife Viktoria, Joseph Parvis and wife Patricia, Julie Connor and husband Matthew and Joan Pantina and husband William Casalino. He was also the grandfather of nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. John served in the US Navy. He was a retired elevator mechanic, with over 40 years of experience servicing elevators. The family will receive friends on Sunday January 5, 2019 from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the Pizzi Funeral Home 120 Paris Ave, Northvale, NJ 07647 Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Monday January 6, 2019, at the Our Lady Of Sacred Heart Church 120 Kings Hwy, Tappan, NY 10983. www.pizzifuneralhome.com
