Frederica Roberts Rawls Lexington, KY - Frederica Roberts Rawls age 103 of Lexington, KY passed away on November 30, 2019. She was born on September 21, 1916 to the late Frederick George Roberts, Jr. and Bonnie Patton Roberts. She is also preceded in death by her husband R. Maines and son James L. Rawls. Ms. Rawls is survived by her daughter Chandra (Joe) Jarboe and two grandchildren; Joe B (DeAndra) Jarboe of Ft. Worth Texas and Janet (Larry) Mead of Powell, OH; and six great-grandchildren. Besides her love for her family and friends, Frederica was the first female administrator in Metro Nashville High School. She taught Latin at Hillsboro High School and was the assistant principal at Hillwood High School. Frederica had a passion for children and touched many lives with her generosity and love for life. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from ten o'clock until twelve o'clock on the morning of Friday, December 6, 2019 at Brentwood Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Following the visitation will be a Celebration of Life in Brentwood's Chapel, entombment will follow in Woodlawn Mausoleum.
