Sally A. McDonald Feb. 3, 1932 - Nov. 27, 2019 Sally A. McDonald passed away peacefully, surrounded by family in her home Nov. 27, 2019 in Milwaukie, Ore. She was 87 years old. Sally was born Feb. 3, 1932 in Portland to parents Fern and Harold Troutman. She married James McDonald in 1952. They moved to their Milwaukie home in 1956. Sally worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad for 42 years. She enjoyed spending her time with family at home in Milwaukie or at a beloved beach house in Rockaway on the Oregon coast. Sally will be remembered as the matriarch of a wonderful, large and loving family. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, James; and her four children, Tim, David, Pat and Teri. Sally was proud to have eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren that will remember her as Grandma, or "Grammie," and cherish the memories of birthdays, holidays and many a random Sunday spent at Grandma's house Services will be held at 11 a.m., Dec. 3, 2019, at Milwaukie Lutheran Church, 3810 S.E.
