Jack "Jackie" Ray Crittenden, born June 29, 1936, quietly passed away at home in Warrior, December 1, 2019. He was a devoted father and a great auto mechanic. He received the Lord in 2002. He worked at numerous organizations and retired from Jefferson County Board of Education/ Bus Mechanic A Class. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Austin Crittenden and Pauline Jefferson Crittenden. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Winnett Crittenden; sisters, Lou Owens and Diane Manasco; children, Judi Crittenden Doss, Randy (Mary) Crittenden, Eric Crittenden, John (Diana) Crittenden; grandchildren, Stephen Crittenden, Gina Renda, Emily Galloway, Mark and Sam Crittenden, and seven great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held for Mr. Crittenden at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Friday, December 6, from 10:00am- 12:00pm, with funeral service beginning at 12:00pm. Burial to follow at Cane Creek Cemetery.
